- Abstract: The efficient copper‐catalyzed construction of imidazopyridinones is described. Beginning from iodopyridinyl ureas, Ullmann coupling provides imidazopyridinones in good yield. Manufacturing by this process is described on 473 kg scale; the scope and limitations of substrates is also detailed.
