Abstract

Abstract : Mol. Nutr. Food Res . 2022, 66, 202200071 DOI: 10.1002/mnfr.202200071 Maternal COVID‐19 infection reduced the human milk levels of selenium, copper, iron, nickel, vanadium and aluminum, while increased zinc. Also, it impaired the metabolic pathways of aminoacyl‐tRNA, tyrosine and tryptophan, phenylalanine and linoleic acid. Differences depending on symptomatic and asymptomatic status and between different lactational stages were reported as well as associations of human milk elements with metabolites and antibodies. This is reported by Carmen Collado, Tamara García‐Barrera, and co‐workers in article number 2200071 .
