- Abstract: Magnetoresistive and temperature-dependent dielectric response of La-substituted Nd2 Ce2 O7 pyrochlores is comprehensively presented in this work. The samples were synthesized using a facile chemical route. Structural investigations confirmed that La-substitution resulted in a slight increase in lattice parameters without any phase transformation of cubic fluorite structure. The credibility of structural information is further affirmed via Rietveld's refined parameters. The spherical-shaped particles with increased agglomeration were revealed in morphological analysis. The elemental purity of all the compositions was verified via energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The dielectric constant increased significantly by rising temperature from 300 to 500 K. The maximum value of the dielectric constant was noted as 5213 at 500 K for x = 0.8, which highlighted the potential of this composition for energy storage devices, operating at elevated temperatures. When 40% Nd was substituted at La-site, the sample exhibited maximum dispersion in magnetoresistive coupling which revealed the potential of these compositions for magnetoresistive devices.
