- Abstract : Heteroatom‐stabilized transition‐metal carbene complexes are useful building blocks for organic synthesis, but their catalytic generation from substrates with common functional groups is still challenging. In their Communication on page 11754, F. Kakiuchi et al. report a novel hydroaminative cyclization of enynes with secondary amines catalyzed by phosphine‐quinolinolato rhodium complexes to form cyclic enamines through the catalytic construction of an aminocarbene intermediate.
