- Abstract: Entrepreneurial activity is perceived by freelancers in different ways, depending their own experience, values, personal attitudes, social norms and behavior. Consequently, their entrepreneurial intention can be evaluated through theory of planned behavior (TPB). Hypotheses are tested by means of correlations and regression analysis. According to the results, all the relations within the research framework are significant. Even if respondents are aware of their professional experience, which can help them to design and develop business models, most of them are still reluctant to an entrepreneurial career. The findings of this research are useful for the development of motivational strategies that freelancers should acknowledge to think seriously to the advantages of an entrepreneurial career.
