This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief. The article was not judged scientifically robust on the following points: - maltose is described as a monosaccharide. The glycosidic bonds were not broken properly in the HPLC samples. - preparation and interpretation of the HPLC chromatogram: the addition of PMP, NaOH, and acid to the sample in the procedure was not mentioned, the intensity of hydrolysis was insufficient for this polysaccharide. - The interpretation of the FTIR spectrum does not match the cited literature, the authors of the current paper did not mention the presence of amide peaks. - FTIR spectrum does not verify C NMR and H NMR graphs. - The interpretations presented in the SEM section are not relevant to the images taken and the structures observed. Therefore, the decision was taken to retract the article.
