- Graphical abstract: Image 1 Highlights: Photocatalytic behavior of mesoporous TiO2, modified with Ag and Cu nanoparticles, in the CO oxidation process was studied. Bimetallic Ag/Cu nanoparticles photochemical deposition on TiO2 leads to a significant intensification of CO photoconversion. The optimal Ag:Cu ratio (1:1 mass) which leads to the maximum quantum yield of CO photooxidation was determined. The highest CO oxidation intensity was observed for TiO2, modified with Ag/Cu ("alloy") or Cu@Ag (core@shell) nanoparticles..
