Abstract: A new method for the synthesis of organophosphorus compounds between 3-hydroxy-3-indolyloxindoles and phosphite is described here. A modified Pudovik reaction is an efficient way applied in this approach. To be specific, this reaction proceeds smoothly under mild conditions with a self-catalysis system, diversely substituted α-functionalized phosphates are afforded with quaternary stereocenters in high yield, and the reaction time is acceptable due to the high reactivity.
