Abstract

Abstract : Many aspects of water, water-air, and water-soil interactions are highly relevant to the understanding and evaluation of environmental issues. The steps in the evaluation process involve understanding the mass and energy relationships of water as well as chemical (physical, inorganic, and organic) and biological factors. The combining of these two areas of investigation is sometimes termed environmental hydraulics.
