Abstract

ABSTRACT: Adolescence narcissistic regressions are described as manifested in the contemporary reliance on technology. The multiple developmental tasks of this stage are linked to the need to mourn the idealized objects, and the body of childhood. Clinical vignettes will illustrate the ways virtual reality is mobilized at the service of maturation.
