Abstract

Abstract : ABSTRACT: In April 2016, the American College of Sports Medicine launched a new journal, the Translational Journal of the American College of Sports Medicine . Translational research is difficult to define and means different things to different individuals. It is a bit analogous to the phrase "I can't define it but I know it when I see it." However, the essence of translational science is the attempt to apply basic and clinical science findings to communities and populations. That is, take what is known and apply it to the real world.
