Abstract

Abstract : The inside cover picture shows a short oligoglutamic peptide as a ball and chain that does not allow a DNA‐binding conjugate (octaarginine–small molecule hybrid) to internalize and/or bind nucleic acids. Irradiation releases the inactivating chain and thus triggers the cell entry and nucleic acid binding abilities of the conjugate. More information can be found in the communication by E. Vázquez, J.
