- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adma201301338-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Poly(ethylene glycol) micropillars</bold> with gold nanopatterns on top are functionalized with two integrin selective ligands. This platform is a powerful new tool to determine the specific contribution of traction forces involved in cell adhesion mediated by α<sub>5</sub> β<sub>1</sub>‐ and α<sub>v</sub>β<sub>3</sub>‐ integrins.
