- Abstract : The Cover Feature shows the anodic oxidation of solketal, an acetal‐protected glycerol derivative, to solketalate. Subsequent acidic deprotection releases glyceric acid in high selectivity preserving the carbon chain, whereas direct glycerol oxidation over nickel boride would yield formate as main product.
