- In recent years, wireless communication of controllers has been required due to concerns about wiring costs. In the practical application of wireless communication for controllers, the influence of communication delay must be considered. In a previous research, nonlinear temperature control of a heat exchange process was performed by wireless communication, and the particle filters were used to reduce the influence of communication delay. In this research, the resampling method was improved to reduce the execution time of the particle filter program. The resampling method was modified and the resampling timing combined with a statistical method was introduced. Simulation and experimental results show that IQR reduces the disturbance of the control input and reduces the particle filter execution time by about 15.620%.
