Abstract

Abstract : The cover image is based on the Themed Section of this issue: Traditional Chinese Medicines and Natural Medicines Research. The use of natural medicines has a long history. The cover shows elements of traditional Chinese medicines, Chinese pestle for herbs, and prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicines. This themed section contains two reviews on the mechanism of the active ingredients of the traditional Chinese medicines and one original article on the efficacy of Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz and Paeonia lactiflora Pall. At the same time, this section includes the efficacy study of natural medicines like royal jelly by Iranian researchers.
