- Abstract : SrTiO3 Nanoparticles The surface properties of different facets of SrTiO3 nanoparticles are investigated by atomic force microscopy by Frieder Mugele and co‐workers in article number 2106229 . Facet‐specific forces, atomic‐level surface structure, defects, and charges are characterized in a liquid environment. Their measurements reveal substantial differences in isoelectric points and hydration between adjacent facets. These insights are important for the performance of anisotropic nano particles in (photoelectron‐) catalysis and for their colloidal self‐assembly.
