Abstract

Abstract : While advancements in cellular therapy have improved outcomes for patients with refractory leukemia, severe infections may hinder access. Granulocyte transfusions, in combination with anti-microbial therapy, may be a safe option to facilitate candidacy for chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy in patients with leukemia and prolonged immune-compromised status.
