- Highlights: The first morphological and molecular evidences deciphering the etiology of pod rot of mungbean in India. Internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region and transcribed elongation factor (TEF) 1-alpha were utilized for molecular identification of pathogens. Huge economic losses can lower the economic and nutritional security of farmers.
