- Abstract : Intramural esophageal hematoma is a rare form of esophageal injury. The presenting symptoms are nonspecific. Esophagogastroscopy and computed tomography scan are usually needed to establish the diagnosis of intramural esophageal hematoma. Presented here is a patient with spontaneous intramural esophageal hematoma who was successfully treated with conservative measures.
