- Abstract: We discuss properties of the d e t S 2 map, present a few explicit computations, and give a geometrical interpretation for the condition d e t S 2 ( ( v i, j ) 1 ≤ i < j ≤ 4 ) = 0 . We also discuss connections with an old theorem of Pappus of Alexandria.
