- Abstract : This Review discusses a new class of functional crystalline materials, the hybrid hydrogen‐bonded organic frameworks (HOFs) including ionic HOFs and metallized HOFs. Hybrid HOFs with high stability, permanent porosity, and efficient functionalization designed by charged or metal‐containing building blocks have been highlighted. Their cutting‐edge applications in selective inclusion, proton conduction, gas separation, and catalysis are also covered in this overview.
