Abstract

Key Points: Most SIHD patients present with MVD. The role and impact of CR in this setting is still a matter of debate. This study shows that SIDH patients, especially those older and affected by multiple comorbidities, may benefit from a CR strategy during index procedure. While waiting for further evidence, CR may be a reasonable approach for SIHD MVD patients. However, careful patient selection is mandatory to achieve satisfactory results without undue patient risk.
