- Abstract: Knitted fabric defect detection is an engineering application based on artificial intelligence and machine vision. This paper introduces the core technologies of fabric defect detection and briefly analyzes and compares them. An attempt is made to design a system for image pre-processing and seam detection using image processing techniques. And experiments on system construction, image pre-processing, image detection and segmentation, and feature extraction are carried out.
