Abstract

Abstract : The frontispiece image depicts how stem cells develop from a single cell into different types of organoids. It represents the content of the review "Stem cells for organoids". In this review, the culture process and various applications of stem cell derived organoids were summarized, and proposed insightful thoughts for engineering stem cells into organoids in view of the current shortcomings were summarized to achieve the further application and clinical translation of stem cells and engineered stem cells in organoid research.
