Abstract

Highlights: SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen detection tests (RDT) were evaluated among children. 9760 oropharyngeal samples in paediatric patients were enrolled. RDT sensitivity was 44.7% compared to RT-qPCR. SARS-CoV-2 virus variant of concern and COVID-19 vaccination status did not have a significant impact of RDT sensitivity.
