- Abstract:
- Abstract : Tax avoidance highlights the shift in power from national governments to international private corporations in recent decades. Companies pay vast sums to lawyers and accountants who devise schemes that are legal but deeply self-interested and unethical, despite business ethics being taught to managers. The Churches need to be involved in reversing the erosion of civic virtue and promoting a culture of civic responsibility.
