Abstract

Abstract : ( BJOG . 2021;129:1050–1060) Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy include gestational hypertension, pre-eclampsia, and eclampsia, and have been an increasing threat to maternal well-being during delivery in the last 20 years. These complications are commonly associated with other disorders or conditions such as obesity, chronic hypertension, advanced maternal age, multiple gestations, and diabetes. The consequences of hypertensive complications can include stroke, renal failure, and liver injury.
