Abstract

Abstract : Program Description: Otolaryngologists are now focusing on acquiring an electronic medical record (EMR) system, learning to use EMRs, and/or replacing those that are outdated and do not meet their needs. Panelists will analyze specifics. Educational Objectives: 1) Critique an EMR system on the basis of cost, usability, workflow, quality, support, and return on investment. 2) Comply with meaningful use criteria to receive incentive money.
