- Abstract: Currently, it is difficult to attain the composite with high quality material behaviors. The synthesized Titanium carbide based beryllium composite fulfills the need of excellent material behaviors. Titanium Carbide (TiC) particulate reinforced beryllium composite is synthesized through stir casting method as well as characterization of material has been studied by using Energy Dispersive Analysis of X-rays (EDAX) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The ultrasonic machining behaviors of the beryllium composite were evaluated using different input constraints such as power rating, abrasive size and frequency. Based on the input constraints, rate of metal removal was evaluated. The optimal factor was used to enhance the machinability behaviors using Taguchi approach.
