- Abstract: ABSTRACT: In this article, I discuss the career change from working as a Veterinary Nurse (VN) in first opinion practice to a VN working in a referral teaching hospital. Of course, no two veterinary practices are the same and this article reflects personal experiences. However, I hope it may help those who are considering a change in their career path and wondering which route to take.
