- Abstract : The cover image shows X‐ray diffraction patterns of γ‐phase Ag x Cu1– x I films with Ag content up to 52% epitaxially grown on (0001)‐oriented Al2 O3 by a close distance sublimation technique, reflecting the key message of article number 2200493 by Evgeny Krüger et al. In addition to the 2Θ‐ ω ‐scans on the left, the Φ ‐scans on the right illustrate the in‐plane orientation of the layers as well as the absence of an additional β‐phase. The gradient bar on the left, connecting the symbols for silver and copper, indicates the varying Ag content in the layers. The background shows the surface morphology of different Ag x Cu1– x I layers, illustrating the transition from closed layers to isolated crystals with increasing Ag content.
