Abstract

Abstract : Optical Nano‐Biosensors An optical nanobiosensor is reported in article number 2201261 by Jacob Waitkus and co‐workers. Localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) allows for sensitive detection of alterations to the local refractive index surrounding unique gold nanomushroom structures. The resultant novel device is extended to combine with a CRIPSR‐Cas13a assay for specific viral detection of target RNA.
