- Abstract: In this manuscript flexible MWCNT-sulfur composite electrodes have been fabricated. These composite electrodes have been characterized by various techniques like, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, Impedance spectroscopy, Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FE-SEM), and charging–discharging measurements. XRD spectra confirms architectural phases, FT-IR confirms interlayer bonding between CNT-sulfur composites, Impedance spectroscopy confirms increased dielectriconstant from 3.68 to 23.10 on insertion of MWCNTs at low frequency. FE-SEM images confirms uniform surface morphology and homogeneous invasion of composite layers. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images show that sulfur is well interconnected within CNTs. Electrochemical discharge mechanism shows stabilized capacity.
