Abstract

Abstract: This paper analysis a production inventory model for deteriorating products with constant demand and backlogged shortages which depends on the length of the waiting time for the next order level. To obtain optimum shortage time and total cycle length with the objective of optimizing total cost. Also, an algorithm is proposed to determine the decision variables. It is presented with the help of numerical examples.
