- Abstract : The effect of oxide concentration in molten FLiNaK (LiF-NaF-KF) salt on square wave voltammetry (SWV) oxidation peak heights using tungsten working electrodes was determined and compared to the results of acid-base titration of solid salt samples. SWV oxidation current was observed to be more sensitive than that of cyclic voltammetry (CV), possibly due to the elimination of non-faradaic current. The in-situ measurements of the O 2- concentrations in the molten salt using SWV showed good agreement with the results obtained from the acid-base titration method.
