Abstract

Abstract : Photophysical property changes of organic dye can be realized by controlling their aggregation state. These changes result in red/blue shift of absorption/emission band, activation of phosphorescence, or photothermal/photodynamic effect (generating heat or ROS). Because of dye self‐assembly in aqueous environment, the obtained nanoaggregates show great potential for optical diagnosis and therapy of cancer. ( Aggregate . 2021;2:e39 )
