- Abstract: Organic perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is concerned due to their photoelectric performance, low price, and solution treatable. However, there are defects in perovskite crystals that affect the power conversion efficiency (PCE) improvement. These effects include carrier transport, the morphology of the film surface, etc. Passivation is a reliable solution to reduce defects in crystals. We doped 2-mercaptoimidazole (2-MI) in the perovskite active layer to obtain efficient perovskite solar cells, the PCE of organic PSCs with 2-MI reaches 18.26%, which is effectively improved compared to the original device (17.58%). This work provides a new strategy for efficient PSCs.
