- Abstract : Dendritic nanoarchitectures allow myriads of chemical strategies for designing hybrid multifunctional materials containing magnetic and plasmonic nanoparticles. Poly(amidoamine) dendrimers are explored in a series of magneto‐plasmonic substrates for surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) detection of a pesticide dissolved in water. The Fe3 O4 particles assist the magnetic separation of the dendritic sorbents from aqueous samples for subsequent SERS analysis of molecular adsorbates on gold.
