Abstract

Abstract: This article is devoted to the problems of engineering education in a technical higher educational institution. In particular, obtaining an insufficient amount of practical skills and abilities in the field of systems, networks and telecommunications. This article discusses the acquisition of practical experience in the measurement of various parameters of fiber optic communication cables using measuring instruments to control the fiber optic line. For a visual demonstration of the possibility of carrying out laboratory work on this stand, the identification of the influence of connectors at the ends of fiber-optic patch cords on the operation of the line is considered. All this became possible thanks to the creation of a training stand, which is designed to train students in the specialty "Infocommunication Technologies and Communication Systems", and the like.
