- Abstract : Nanomaterials modification is one of the most efficient strategies for microbial CO2 reduction systems. These modifications can dramatically affect the properties in chemical stability, electrochemical conductivity, biocompatibility and surface area, which provides them with significant advances for microbial CO2 reduction systems. This review summarizes the recent progress in the rational design of nanomaterials for facilitating energy conversion. An introductive discussion on the realization of their large‐scale application is illustrated (DOI: 10.1002/chem.202202317 ).
