Abstract

Highlights: Diagnosis and adjuvant management of salivary gland pathology remain challenging due to their diversity and rarity. Evidence favors surgical management followed by adjuvant radiation in the presence of certain adverse features and histology. Hormonal and targeted therapy may have a role in the recurrent or metastatic setting only. Hormonal therapy should be employed judiciously outside the setting of clinical trials.
