- Abstract : Microtubules are dynamic structures regulated by post‐translational modifications called a tubulin code. The pictured jester's cap 'n' bells resembles disassembling microtubules—a catastrophe—with the bells illustrating the C‐terminal tyrosine on tubulins. One is replaced by our chemical proteomics probe, which is being attached by tubulin‐tyrosine ligase. The juggling amino acids of the proteins animate the tyrosination cycle. The background is a fluorescence imaging picture showing the distribution of tyrosination‐probe labelled proteins in neuroblastoma cells. More information can be found in the Research Article by D.
