Abstract:: ABSTRACT: The moral questions raised by synthetic media are considered in the context of posthumous documentary biography. Two possibilities are explored: firstly, that synthesis of the voice in biographical documentary deceives in a distinctive way and secondly, that it is possible for synthetic media to harm the subject of posthumous documentary.
