- Abstract : Back Cover : The conception of cheaper and greener electrode materials is critical for Li‐ion battery manufacturers. In article number BTE.20220016, Vanpeene et al. have shown that a by‐product of the carbothermic reduction of SiO2 to Si, consisting of a mixture of Si, SiC and C, can be used as raw material for production of high‐capacity anodes for Li‐ion batteries.
