- Abstract: Invited for this month′s cover are the collaborating groups of Prof. Niko Hildebrandt at Université de Rouen Normandie, France, and Dr. Pierre Busson at Gustave Roussy, France. The cover picture shows a Rolling Circle Amplification (RCA) product formed from a single microRNA and its detection via lanthanide (Tb and Eu) based multicolor FRET. More information can be found in the Research Article by N. Hildebrandt and co‐workers . Abstract : Rolling circle amplification (RCA) combined with lanthanide‐based (Tb and Eu) TR‐FRET resulted in nucleic acid assays with femtomolar detection limits and was used for miR‐21 quantification in the 1 to 100 pM concentration range on two commercial fluorescence plate readers.
