Abstract

Abstract : Case: We present an active-duty male service member in his second decade of life who presented with a painful medial thigh mass and functional limitations 1 year after a football injury and was diagnosed with a chronic distal adductor longus tendon tear. He was successfully treated with a novel reconstruction technique using Achilles allograft. Conclusion: Chronic distal adductor longus tendon tears are a rare condition that can be successfully treated with an Achilles allograft reconstruction method in high-demand, active individuals.
