- Abstract : DOI: 10.1002/elps.202200134 The cover picture shows elimination of light chain (LC) tailing during reducing capillary gel electrophoresis analysis of mAb‐A by replacing sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) with a more hydrophobic surfactant sodium hexadecyl sulfate (SHS). The LC‐SDS complexes tend to dissociate, forming a series of complexation states with different degrees of negative charge, which ultimately leads to peak tailing. Due to the higher hydrophobicity of SHS, the LC‐SHS complexes are more stable and uniform than LC‐SDS complexes, so the dissociation of LC‐SHS complexes is dramatically reduced.
