- Abstract : The surface laser polishing of engineering ceramic materials is a high-precision surface polishing technology, which overcomes the difficulty of high-precision processing due to the high hardness and high brittleness of engineering ceramic materials. This article summarizes in detail the research progress of laser polishing on the surface of engineering ceramic materials in recent years, and introduces the development status of laser polishing on the surface of engineering ceramic materials from the aspects of polishing mechanism, experiment and numerical simulation progress.
