- Abstract : Se–N bond formation supported by UV-light. Abstract : The irradiation of diaryl diselenides bearing amido groups using UV light of 254 nm wavelength leads to their rapid and quantitative conversion to form the benzisoselenazolone core through free radical Se–N bond formation. The developed protocol was utilized for a series of diversified substrates under mild reaction conditions.
